Basement Remodel

This under-stairs project began with a call to explore a tucked-away space under the basement stairs. The clients wanted clean, functional storage to replace a growing pile of boxes and seasonal ornaments. Over several weeks of collaborative design, we determined the essential project features including:

• 30-inch deep roll-out trays
• angled book shelves under stairs
• wardrobe cabinet with drawers and hanging space
• Corner bench with bead board backing
• a bench for their grandchildren to sit and read
• Hooks for beach towels
• LED lighting
